ARBURG offers high-quality machines, competent applications technology consulting and has more than 30 years of experience in the digitally networked production. Thanks to the ALLROUNDER injection moulding machines and freeformers for the additive manufacturing, the ARBURG host computer system ALS and the GESTICA controller, the company is optimally positioned for the future.
At the Interplastica 2022, a hybrid ALLROUNDER 520 H with a clamping force of 1.500 kN demonstrates the production-efficient and top quality production of pipette tips made of PP. The hybrid high-efficiency machines of the HIDRIVE series are designed for a production-efficient and high-quality series production and are ideally suited for bulk articles used in the personal care, medical and pharmaceutical industry. The presented machine is equipped with a 32-fold mould from the company Zahoransky. The cycle time is approx. six seconds which corresponds to a throughput of about 19.200 moulded parts per hour.
GESTICA control system
The intuitive GESTICA control system incorporates all of ARBURG’s experience in the development of hardware and software. Detailed improvements were made, so that machine operators save time and reach their goal with just a few clicks.
Numerous assistance functions such as the "aXw Control FillAssist” offer installers and operators a very high degree of convenience and extensive support. The GESTICA “pilots” help to easily implement smooth, highly autonomous and monitored production.
arburgXworld: digital products and services
As part of the focus on “arburgXworld” and digitalisation, ARBURG offers numerous new digital features of its customer portal for further increasing production efficiency.
A unique feature is the new “Customer Upload” function in the “MachineCenter” app that enables customers to also integrate non-ARBURG equipment. The “AnalyticsCenter” analysis tool is e.g. designed for the documentation of mould acceptance tests, trials, and injection moulding processes.
Planetary roller screw drive
ARBURG’s core competencies include the development and production of its unique planetary roller screw drives at its German headquarters in Lossburg. A key feature of these robust servo-electric direct drives is the unbeatable high power density. They are characterised by high precision and dynamics as well as a high load capacity and load-resistant power transmission.
In view of the excellent quality of these central drive elements, ARBURG has now increased the warranty on them to five years.
