About us
Brabender offers instruments and equipment for the determination of material quality and physical properties. Those are applied in research, development and production in the worldwide plastics and rubber industry, among others. Mixers, extruders and other equipment as single units or complete test lines are available for a broad range of applications.
Guaranteeing highest product quality, the research, development and production of instruments and application software take place exclusively in its headquarters in Duisburg (Germany). Brabender provides its customers with a comprehensive advice and support, e. g. in the field of material testing, process optimization and sample preparation on a laboratory scale. The company also owns a technical applications laboratory in which customers can also test the instruments themselves. The Brabender service staff is in the field worldwide and makes sure that the durable instruments are working continuously and satisfactorily.

Brabender Stand-Alone Extruder KE30
The Brabender Stand-Alone Extruder KE30 is a compact, powerful multi-purpose machine applied for analyzing the processability of numerous materials, e. g. plastics, elastomers and ceramic binder systems. By means of an appropriate die for shaping the extrudate, it produces tubes, profiles, blown or flat films on a lab scale. Moreover, a broad range of different screw elements and other tools as well as multiple enhancement options connectable through the CAN bus system.
Mini Compounder B-TSE-A 12/36
With the mini compounder B-TSE-A 12/36 Brabender offers a small twin screw extruder for product development in the plastics, rubber and further. The B-TSE-A 12/36 is a 12 mm twin screw extruder attachment for the MetaStation drive units with an L/D of 36. It enables the processing of small and very small sample quantities and is specially designed for laboratory purposes.
