Products and Services

SHIMADZU offers a wide range of equipment for quality control and research of properties of polymer raw materials and ready products: study of structure and composition of polymers, investigation of physico-chemical properties, investigation of mechanical properties.
The Shimadzu Autograph AGS-X series

AGS-X series universal testing machines are designed for mechanical testing of various materials, including plastics. Mechanical tests makes it possible to evaluate the following characteristics: tensile yield strength, break stress and elongation at break, stress in compression, bending stress at fracture / at a given deflection, elastic modulus during tensile, compression or bending, etc.

FTIR spectrometers IRSpirit, IRAffinity-1S and IRTracer-100

The presence of different types of polymers and additives makes it necessary to carry out qualitative and quantitative analysis. Such studies are carried out with the use of FTIR spectrometers.
